I do not see emptiness as something we use one way or another. It is just an opening to the other side, an awareness of now without worry or any emotion.
We focus on the breath and slow the mind down until thoughts and emotions clear. We then observe the wonder as our body and mind heal and repair. We accept all that is I before us.

I’m learning to recognize the moments where everything seems bland, perhaps even boring, as mere slips of time which are meant to allow us to catch our breath as the past fades away, and the future unfolds. When I see these moments, I now realize that something is about to happen, good or bad, and I need to appreciate the nothingness while it’s here.
