It may be that
when we no longer know
what to do,
we have come
to our real work,
and when we
no longer know
which way to go,
we have begun
our real journey

Thank you … an elegant reminder…
I have a ring that says, “Not all who wander are lost” and as I’ve worn it the word lost faded and I thought this kind of profound. Those spontaneous sparks of feeling like I need to go somewhere and after going realizing it was for a reason I needed to go. Not all who wander are….wandering.

From our friend Mindfulbalance and it makes me think of a ring I bought from Pyramid a year ago that says, “Not all who wander are lost.” As I’ve worn it the word lost has faded and I thought this kind of profound. Love this

A lovely reminder when we are feeling stuck or despondent about where we are in life. Challenge often inspires the beginning of our real journey. 💛

And I love that photo ~ it makes me want to set out across its stones.
Perfect words for me today…thank you!
Karl, I enjoy the posts you provide daily and am trying to find a picture/quote/your words for a client who is with a new company and feeling ‘unstable’. I would like to offer something from your posts and am not able to find a way to search your tags. Any support you can provide to point me to what i’m not able to find on your blog posts to search tags would be most appreciated!
Thanks, Karl!

Hi Marie Therese,
Thank you for your comment and for following the blog, and especially for drawing my attention to this. Because I can search within the blog from the wordpress dashboard I was not aware of the fact that it was not so easy to find things from the published main page. I have added a “search” widget on the right hand side, and even typing in the word “shaky” threw up some posts, one of which might be useful. However, other words like “change” should throuw up some more possibilities. Another way os to click on a category under a post such as “impermanence” and it will give a good few posts. However, I will start using more precise categories and tags. It was not something that I was keeping in mind, as I do not have a huge amount of time to work on the blog and I focus on making sure that posts go out on a day, and sometimes they even might follow certain themes over a few days! Thank you for writing, let me know if the search works and hope that this helps, Karl
