E.L. Doctorow said once said that ‘Writing a novel is like driving a car at night. You can see only as far as your headlights, but you can make the whole trip that way.’ You don’t have to see where you’re going, you don’t have to see your destination or everything you will pass along the way. You just have to see two or three feet ahead of you. This is right up there with the best advice on writing, or life, I have ever heard.

For those of us who want every moment to be planned. Who are unsettled, scared, unhappy with uncertainty. This is the quote for you.
We have to make our peace with the uncertainty of life and trust the process. We’ll never know. Ever!
Trust that for every problem the solution is just around the corner.
I wish you all patience and peace. And for life to send you the perfect answers.
Oh this is beautiful. Often while writing I feel as though I’m not good enough if I can’t see every step along the way. This gives me inspiration that in writing as well as in life I don’t have to see everything to make an amazing journey. 🙂
