Notice the thought. That’s fine. Notice the anxiety. Notice the fear. Use the meditation to focus your mind…The only thing that is keeping the emotion alive is your own thoughts. You keep churning it over and over again. Your thoughts do not care about you. They only want to perpetuate themselves.

  1. This brought me to badly needed tears this morning. I’m sure I read it on your blog at some time that being mindful is easier when there are fewer pressures and it is in our difficult times that our practice will come to aid us. Thank you for bringing me back to that this morning.

    Of Gary Shneider’s

    Envy arose as I read them
    But I did not allow it
    To perpetuate itself
