Clear seeing of whatever is present

You shouldn’t chase after the pastor place expectations on the future.
What is past is left behind. The future is as yet unreached.
Whatever quality is present
you clearly see, right there, right there.
Not taken in; unshaken.

That’s how you develop the heart.

  1. What a co-incidence.

Your post is like a more concise version of a piece I wrote a couple of years ago. An internet friend, also with chronic ill health that had sidelined her for 10 years, couldn’t really accept my version of life………Living in the Moment.

( I suppose that highlights the difference to how I think at the age of 59 with 30+ years of chronic ill health AND my friend, at the age of 35, with only 10 years of chronic ill health).

    1. Hi Vicki,

Thanks for the comment. I find the understanding of seeing things as they are and not taking them in to be very powerful – the repeated “right there, right there”. I love your photographs: the ones of the mouse on the bird table are lovely. The quality of clear seeing is a great gift.
