…as when you see first Daffodils

File:Spring daffodils.jpg

Some consider that the start of March marks the start of Spring, even though this grey and misty morning in Kildare was not particularly Spring-like. However, there are little signs all around, birds gathering twigs for nests, buds on trees and big splashes of colour:

The quality of life is in proportion, always, to the capacity for delight.

The capacity for delight is the gift of paying attention.

May Sarton.

There is nothing you can see that is not a flower;

There is nothing you can think that is not the moon

  1. This is a lovely post Karl; I really love the quote. Ive been on a bit of a downer since our family went back to Kildare the other day after a week here. So this has helped to give me a little perspective back and draw me nearer to the path I want to travel.

  2. We are having our first rain after far too long. It’s a delight now around San Diego. A change of our seasons is very subtle. So, cultivating attention is particularly important.
    Thanks for your writing.
