  1. I was in a 15-person chronic pain group run by a pain psychologist. We were all spinal injury patients

    I learned the hard way over a six month period how to deal with chronic pain

    It is different than regular acute pain

    I learned that any thought given to pain increases it

    Fear or anxiety toward our pain increases it

    Best to not think about it
