The center that I cannot find
is known to my unconscious mind.

Waiting

File:Nothoscordum borbonicum flowerhead5 NC (15651516089).jpg

Existence will remain meaningless for you if you yourself do not penetrate into it with active love,

and if you do not in this way discover its meaning for yourself.

Everything is waiting to be hallowed by you.

Not a problem

File:Abeuni2.JPG

Can you imagine,  if you really let it in,  that you are not a problem to be solved in any way

Imagine you knew that anything that tells you otherwise is just a movement of thought in the mind that says “Whatever is, isn’t the way it is supposed to be.”  So the biggest act of compassion starts within.  And when the self is no longer seen as a problem, this is called “the peace that passes all understanding.

Bit by bit

File:Camino de Albalate (i). Mosaico; Detalle (7) - Foto José Antonio Bielsa.JPG

Meaning does not come to us in finished form, ready-made; it must be found, created, received, constructed. We grow our way toward it. And sometimes the precious bit of true self, the unlived bit of soul, hides in psychological complexes, in illness, even in tragedy, even in sin…Some mysterious power uses what we see as horrific as as the defeat of all our hopes to bring about our salvation.

Sunday Quote: More

To reach the sea and be happy with a jug of water is a waste

The sea that has pearls…

And a hundred thousand other precious things.

Being alive

File:Seeking inspiration (7756358352).jpg

People say that what we’re all seeking is a meaning for life. I don’t think that’s what we’re really seeking. I think that what we’re seeking is an experience of being alive, so that our life experiences on the purely physical plane will have resonances with our own innermost being and reality, so that we actually feel the rapture of being alive.
