Able to hold

In the Buddhist tradition the ability to be happy is often translated into English as ‘equanimity,’

roughly meaning to be equal to things,

to be large enough for the drama in which we find ourselves.

  1. Thank you. I am sure that – where you are- you have nicer examples of horses and paddocks than I was able to find in thus picture, but hopefully it gets across the ideas of space and containment. The Parker Palmer of a few days ago comes from a reflection on the miracle of the loaves and fishes, which is really beautiful, if you can get your hands on it. Best wishes, Karl

    1. Yours will do just fine 🙂 And its always the words coupled along with the pics that make it so beautiful. Thanks for the response. Good to know about Parker Palmer. I love his work!
